“Settlements between a public entity and an entrepreneur – new regulations from 1 June 2017”
On 1 June 2017, the The amended provisions on the possibility of concluding both court and out-of-court settlements between public entities and entrepreneurs enter into force. The new regulations apply to contracts concluded by communes, districts and provinces, as well as public government entities, with entrepreneurs through public procurement, but also outside of them.
Subject of the conference
The conference will focus on discussing changes in regulations and on the methods of practical implementation of a civil law settlement between a public entity and an entrepreneur – from the point of view of the elements of a settlement, conducting court and out-of-court proceedings, including mediation and public finance discipline.
The conference is addressed to:
- entrepreneurs having concluded contracts with public entities, i.e. m.in with communes, districts or government administration or planning to conclude such agreements,
- communes, districts, provinces and government administration units, in particular those that are engaged in court or out-of-court disputes with entrepreneurs,
- mediators and facilitators of amicable dispute resolution.
The conference was held under the honorary patronage of: Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, President of the Regional Court in Gdańsk. In the process of confirmation – Pomeranian Voivode.
