It’s worth it!” The incentives don’t end there: everyone who settles their tax by entering their Gdańsk address in their tax return has a chance to win one of the attractive prizes – a game console, a bicycle or even a car!
The main goal of the campaign is to convince the “new” residents to submit their annual PIT tax return in Gdańsk, where they live, work, rest, use Gdańsk’s transport and infrastructure on a daily basis. As a result, part of the tax money will go to the city’s budget. What’s important – you don’t have to be registered here to settle PIT in Gdańsk. All you need to do is enter your Gdańsk address in your tax return.
For all Gdańsk payers, the “new” ones and those who have been settling their accounts in Gdańsk for years, the City Hall has prepared a PIT lottery with a prize pool of over 100 thousand zlotys. Golden.
How to participate in the lottery?
It’s very simple.
Step 1
First, you need to settle your PIT by entering your Gdańsk address and submit it to the appropriate tax office in Gdańsk.
On the website of the gdansk.pl/pit campaign, there is a link to the PIT settlement program. This is a convenience for those who would like to settle accounts with the tax office electronically. However, taking advantage of this program is not a requirement to participate in the lottery. PIT can be settled in a traditional way, sent by post, submitted in person or sent electronically. Any form of filing PIT in Gdańsk entitles you to participate in the lottery.
Step 2
Then, on the www.gdansk.pl/pit website, you need to fill out a form to register your participation in the lottery. The form will be active until May 10.
The form should include your name and surname, PESEL number, e-mail address and phone number. And also confirm the fact of submitting the PIT declaration for 2016 to the Tax Office competent for the administrative area of Gdańsk. Anyone who submits a PIT declaration in Gdańsk for the first time should also indicate it in the form. After completing the form, the lottery participant will receive a unique registration code.
Step 3
On May 15 , a prize draw will be held at the City Hall in Gdańsk at ul. New Gardens 8/12.
The prize pool includes: household appliances, game consoles (10 pieces), city bikes (5 pieces), as well as a hybrid model of the TOYOTA YARIS car in a premium version!
All people who have correctly filled out the form by May 10 will take part in the draw. After the winners have been drawn, the lottery organizer will ask them to provide a certificate confirming the submission of the PIT declaration for 2016 to one of the Gdańsk Tax Offices, as well as a copy of the first page of the PIT declaration for 2016. In the event that the winner of any of the prizes does not meet the conditions set out in the lottery regulations, the prize will be transferred to a person from the reserve list.

Who can’t participate in the lottery?
Employees of the Organizer and the Municipal Office in Gdańsk, directors of municipal organizational units of the Municipality of Gdańsk and their deputies, members of the management boards of municipal legal persons as well as members of the immediate family of the above-mentioned persons may not participate in the Lottery and cannot receive prizes. People. Within the meaning of the Regulations, the members of the immediate family are: spouses, parents, children, adoptees, adopters, siblings. An employee within the meaning of the Regulations is a person employed under an employment contract.
