Olivia Business Centre is the main partner of the Pomeranian Employers’ Evening Gala

The annual Evening Gala of Pomeranian Employers, during which the best companies and personalities of the region are awarded, is one of the most important events in business. On Friday, 25 February, nearly 700 guests gathered at the AmberExpo exhibition centre in Gdańsk – representatives of the world of business, science, culture and local authorities. The special guest of this year’s event was actor Janusz Gajos. Olivia Business Centre was the Main Partner of the Evening Gala, during which awards in the “Pomeranian Employer of the Year” competition are presented.

The “Pomeranian Employer of the Year” competition, organized by the Pomeranian Employers, is addressed to all Pomeranian companies. Awards are given to those who, by meeting the competition conditions concerning their financial and economic condition, disseminate corporate social responsibility practices and are organizers of employee-friendly workplaces. The competition is divided into three categories: small (employment of up to 50 employees), medium (employment of 51 to 250 employees) and large enterprise (employment of more than 250 employees).

“We want to appreciate and widely promote the achievements of Pomeranian companies and their managers ,” said Zbigniew Canowiecki, President of Pomeranian Employers, during the ceremony. ” This is the idea behind the award, awarded not only for the economic growth of the company, but also for its activities for the environment and friendly relations with employees.

The winner in the “Small Enterprise” category was Biuro Usługowe Mariom, owned by Mariusz Grzęda. m.in were also awarded in this category. resident of OBC, Goyello.

During this year’s Gala, for the second time, the award of the Employer of the Year of the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolital Area was awarded. For 2016, it was awarded to Trefl SA. The award was granted by Paweł Adamowicz, Mayor of the City of Gdańsk and President of the Board of the Metropolitan Area.

Golden Oxers were also awarded to the founders of the Crist shipyard – Ireneusz Ćwirko and Krzysztof Kulczycki and the Termika company, whose founder is Zdzisław Sochacki. Currently, the company is managed by the founder’s son, Maciej Sochacki.

The Primum Cooperatio statuette was awarded to Professor Janusz Rachoń.
