Under the name “Together We Can Do More”, we launched a support package dedicated to the medical community, entrepreneurs, students, seniors and people in quarantine. We have been (and still are) active in Olivia and beyond.
The medical services received hot meals, masks and protective clothing from us. We donated a ventilator and a fumigator to the hospital in Zaspa in Gdańsk. A diagnostic module financed by us has also been installed here, which allows staff to be tested for coronavirus in front of the hospital building.
We also financed the first walk-thru mobile COVID-19 testing center in Poland. The point, prepared for the general collection of swabs for COVID-19 tests, was handed over by us to the University Clinical Center.
Its launch was possible thanks to the support of the Pomeranian Voivode Dariusz Drelich, the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station and the University of Gdańsk. The module was erected at the University of Gdańsk.
Finally, we initiated the “Show Your Heart” campaign. By lighting up a big red heart every day on Olivia Star, the tallest building in northern Poland, we symbolically thanked all those who, risking their own health and that of their families, fought the coronavirus every day on the “front line”. My heart flared up m.in. in Gdynia, at Sky Tower in Wrocław, at Mercure Gdynia Centrum, Mercure Gdańsk Old Town.
Together with Residents and Partners, we have implemented many initiatives that have benefited a wide range of recipients.
We organized a collection of computers and laptops for children from nearby schools to provide those most in need with the opportunity to learn remotely (we were supported by, m.in, Acxiom Global Service Center Polska, Energa Group, thyssenkrupp). Together with Caritas of the Archdiocese of Gdansk, we took care of the elderly by providing them with m.in. food and Easter packages.
Our activities aimed at working people engaged experts and entrepreneurs to provide the latter with access to inspiring and valuable knowledge supporting their professional development. That is why we organized webinars on various topics – from English lessons, through education, to “Coffee with a Recruiter”. We are already thinking about the next meetings, online and offline. Here are some of them:
whose meetings attract 300 HR specialists from the Tri-City, moved to the Internet, which allowed the meetings to continue despite being confined to the house. 10. HR Club Meeting
Feeling an integral part of Oliwa, we support the renovation
and revival of the Market Square in Oliwa. We also try to tell stories
about the district in an interesting, non-standard way. In a series of original films entitled “Oil You Don’t Know” shows extraordinary places and extraordinary people who create the atmosphere and history of this place. You can’t miss these tidbits and curiosities. See for yourself
