Psychology is OK!

We will talk about the psyche zone and the facts and myths related to it with psychologist Sylwia Barsow. The online meeting, which will take place on October 15, will be hosted by Dominika Rossa from O4 Flow.

Therefore, we cordially invite you to the first meeting with Sylwia Barsow , an expert in the field of clinical psychology, professionally associated with the University Clinical Center in Gdańsk for 19 years. We will confirm the facts. We will debunk myths. We will break the patterns, explain, give hints… Yes, psychology is ok and it’s for everyone.

FIRST MEETING WITH AN EXPERT
15.10 | 12:30 | OLIVIA’S FACEBOOK

FACT 1: PSYCHOLOGY IS ALSO FOR ME

It is perfect for sports (let’s recall the excellent sports psychologists) and business, in personal and professional relationships, in contacts with family and co-workers. When we are facing a great challenge and when we need support on a daily basis. So what can I turn to a psychologist with? How, when and if at all can a psychologist help me?

FACT 2: A PSYCHOLOGIST IS A SPECIALIST

Do your knee hurt? Is he tearing in the cross? A broken finger? Flu? We don’t hesitate, we go to the doctor. So why do we procrastinate when it comes to our psyche? A few words about the fact that a psychologist is a specialist.

FACT 3: PSYCHOLOGY IS A SCIENCE

Yes. Psychology is a self-contained science that falls under both the social sciences and the humanities. It is not based on easily refuted subjective surveys. Anthropology, sociology, medicine and neurobiology are valuable sources from which he draws. Have you ever wondered what it has to do with… new technologies?

If we manage to demystify psychology during the first meeting and you decide that you would like to meet our Expert in person, we will help you with that, because Olivia will soon be staffed by none other than Sylwia Barsow. Do you want us to organize another webinar on a specific topic? Let us know what you’re interested in? komunikacja@oliviacentre.com

Olivia Art: 12 paintings/ Vera Derevyanko

Olivia is much more than just buildings. As part of the Olivia Art project, we present the works of artists who live and work in Pomerania.

This time, in the lobby of Olivia Star, Vera Derevyanko presents her works, whose works are full of mysteries, understatements and… Fairy tale. It is an extraordinary combination of colours, lights and a kind of return to what is magical, mysterious, fairy-tale and on the verge of dream and reality…

Vera Derevyanko was born in 1988 in Vladivostok. At the age of 23 she moved to Kaliningrad and then to Gdańsk. At the age of 26, she discovered painting, which became a way for her to express herself. The artist is inspired by the ancient culture of the East. Vera uses a wide range of tools to apply oil paint to canvas canvas, while having a great creative zeal and continuing to develop her painting techniques.

The artist’s paintings are not only beautiful, but – what is important – they hide stories and secrets. They speak non-literally… Communing with them, each time you discover something completely new, clues that allow you to read the works of the painter anew and put them together into a new whole.

The exhibition can be admired throughout October. The artist’s paintings are available for purchase.

It means broad horizons and new opportunities. And knowledge, which we can broaden, as well as travels to every corner of the globe, thanks to which we are becoming better and wiser. It means people from around the world, whom we can meet, get to know, and from whom we can learn a lot. It means decisions, which we can make independently as well as responsibility for them. It means space for living and working. Latitude. Happiness.

We encourage you to tell us and show us what it means – to you, to us –to be free nowadays. How do we see, feel and perceive freedom?

O4 Coworking – flexible solutions for your company

English Version

Are you looking for an office for your company? Places for a dynamic project team? Coworking is a great proposition. In our opinion, for everyone, including micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. In Olivia Business Centre, O4 Coworking is at your disposal, which offers interesting and modern workspaces. You’re sure to find the perfect solution for your business.

In the time of “Covid”, a lot is changing, but not the strength and importance of direct human relationships. We work better, more effectively, more efficiently when we have “face-to-face” contact with each other (no, not online, teamms or Skype, but directly, e.g. in the office). As early as two years ago*, large corporations said they were going to increasingly use flexible workspaces, serviced offices, and co-working spaces, which create a much more collaborative work environment and the freedom to scale up and down quickly in line with market conditions.

More than half of companies (55%) cited increased flexibility as a key driver of this change, and a significant proportion (11%) cited the sense of community created among employees as a key benefit. A further 11% said the primary reason for opting for coworking or serviced offices over more traditional office spaces is to achieve operational capacity faster. What do you think?

WHY O4 COWORKING?

FLEXIBLE LEASE TERMS – fully equipped offices at O4 Coworking can be rented at a favourable price, the offer is flexible and tailored to your expectations and needs. There is no need to sign long-term contracts, and possible resignation from membership is simple and quick.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING – you don’t have to remember about social facilities, keeping order, attractions for employees or networking. Team O4 takes care of that. What’s more, the main goal of coworking is business development – so O4 Coworking cares about getting to know other companies that can become your client or business partner.

GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS – O4 Coworking cooperates with coworking spaces all over the world. Thanks to this, its members can use the resources of coworking spaces free of charge even on the other side of the globe.

TAILOR-MADE OFFICES – O4 Coworking consists of four different locations in four different Olivia buildings. Each space is different and tailored to different needs. A few words about each…

  • O4 Coworking in Olivia Six is class and prestige. Tenants and guests are taken care of by a qualified community manager. This place will certainly impress the most demanding customers and their business partners. On the plus side, there is a view of Gdańsk from the 13th floor of the office building.

  • O4 Coworking in Olivia Star – simplicity reigns here, but of the highest quality. It is an elegant space with offices that support work that requires silence and concentration. Modern, bright spaces in the tallest building in northern Polish.

  • It all started at O4 Coworking in Olivia Four . Here, especially in the conference center, most of the events, trainings and conferences take place. The size of the common areas is conducive to networking and gaining new business partners.

  • O4 Flow in Olivia Gate – the first coworking space for companies managed by women in Central and Eastern Europe. Friendly, cozy, classy. Its main purpose? Support and development of women’s businesses and women’s entrepreneurship. Numerous events and meetings for ladies are held here; from business consulting, through advice from lawyers, accountants, architects, to conversations with experts in the field of image and social media.

A SPACE FOR EVERY MEETING O4 Coworking offers 18 different conference rooms where you can organize formal and informal meetings: for 2, 6, 20 people. A large conference for up to 200 people can also take place here.

Oliwa Neighbourhood Budget: the winning projects have been announced

EN VERSION

The first edition of the Oliwa Neighbourhood Budget has come to an end. During Thursday’s meeting of the Jury, the winning projects were selected and received funding from Olivia. They were announced during this year’s celebration of the district, Viva Oliwa.

The highest number of votes was received by the ” Library +” project, submitted by a group of parents from Oliwa. As part of the project, a children’s section will be created in the Oliwa Library, which is to encourage the youngest inhabitants of the district to visit the facility more often and to encourage them to make friends with books and reading.

Further funding will go to two institutions that will jointly implement the following projects: “ Cultural and Culinary Oliwa “, submitted by the City Initiative Association, and “What is worth seeing in Oliwa – inspiration over coffee”, submitted by the Special School Complex No. 2. These include creating a map of Oliwa with the biggest attractions of the district and places less popular but worth seeing. The map will also include cafes and other catering and service outlets. Thanks to this concept, it will be possible to promote local entrepreneurs widely.

The third co-financed project is “Arte-creation”, submitted by the Association for People with Parkinson’s Disease and Degenerative Brain Diseases and Caregivers: Park On. As part of it, 18 art and ceramic workshops with elements of art therapy will be conducted. They will be dedicated to people who, due to their age or as a consequence of a progressive degenerative brain disease, are at risk of depression, loss of fitness, and a sense of exclusion.

We would like to congratulate the entities that received funding and thank each of the applicants for their participation in the first edition of the Oliwa Neighbourhood Budget.
