Olivia Garden: what you need to know

It is an amazing, tropical garden in the heart of the largest business center in Poland, i.e. Olivia Centre. Olivia Garden combines innovative thinking about the place of work and rest with the need to return to nature. The concept of the place is based on the belief that the quality of the space in which we work and stay directly translates into the quality of life and productivity. Therefore, we have created a place for you that allows you to work and play, while cultivating the innate relationship between man and nature.

What should you remember?

Plants

  • In Olivia Garden you will find 4000 plants of as many as 150 species.
  • Including 40 gigantic, over 7-meter tall trees and as many as 800 plants that ionize and purify the air.
  • We planted there the greenery of 4 continents: Africa, South America, Australia and Asia.
  • Including fruiting trees, plants with fragrant flowers and aerial roots, plants growing straight out of the Amazonian river, full of life.

Space

  • There is a relaxation area here.
  • A stage with a grandstand.
  • TIKI bar with an exotic menu.
  • A tree house, or mezzanine, where you can rest above (and not under) palm trees.

Bar TIKI

In Olivia Garden there is a Tiki-themed bar. Our inspiration was the Polynesian style, with an exotic character. But it’s not just the drinks that the bar is famous for. For example, you can eat a delicious lunch and drink aromatic coffee.

A concert of hope. Heart with Ukraine

The charity concert “With a heart with Ukraine” is behind us. Thank you for taking part in it in such large numbers and for donating so much to our fundraiser “Layette for a Baby” (we would like to remind you that each donation over PLN 30 was an admission ticket to the event). All proceeds from the tickets will go, as promised, to the Gdańsk Helps Ukraine Regional Coordination Centre for layettes for small children.

The originator of the concert is Wiktoria Batarowska , who lives permanently in Poland and comes from Zhytomyr. On a daily basis, she is the conductor of the Olivia Centre Choir, in which employees of Olivia and companies that have their offices in our business center perform. It was Wiktoria’s energy and persistence that allowed us to gather almost a hundred outstanding Ukrainian and Polish artists on one stage.

The concert was attended by: Zoya Rozhok, soprano from the Ukrainian National Opera; Sviatoslav Kondrativ, a well-known Ukrainian violinist and composer; Viktor Korunnyy, French horn player, soloist of the Lviv Philharmonic; Artem Storozhuk, a graduate of the Academy of Music Pyotr Tchaikovsky in Kiev and Liana Kasyun-Korunna, a Ukrainian pianist, graduate of the Lviv Academy of Music.

The artists were accompanied by Polish musicians and singers: the Cantores Veiherovienses choir conducted by Tomasz Chyła and the Olivia Centre Choir. We heard: Emilia Osowska – mezzo-soprano, Krzysztof Pawłocki – guitar ( Les Femmes); Art’n’Voices team; mezzo-soprano Marta Jundziłł, alto countertenor Jakub Borowczyk; flutist Magdalena Burkiewicz; Martyna Chomuszko – piano and pianist Maciej Baczyński.

The concert began with the performance of the Prayer for Ukraine by all the artists. “Great and only God, save Ukraine,” is how the song begins. The music was composed over 130 years ago by Mykola Lysenko, the founder of the Ukrainian national opera.

“Many of the artists performing tonight share with us not only their talent, but also their personal concern for their loved ones who have stayed on the other side of the border. But most of all, hope – said Małgorzata Szumała from Olivia Centre, the host of the concert. ” Let us remain with Ukraine in many ways, not forgetting that thedeeper the night, the closer to dawn.”

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRESENCE!

AND WE INVITE YOU TO THE OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION: THE CONCERT “HEART WITH UKRAINE”. NON-OBVIOUS STAFF.

The Power of Olivia’s People

#Razem can we do more #Sercem with Ukraine

When planning events and campaigns for the current year, we did not know that we would have to face the need to organize rapid aid for war refugees from Ukraine. We were accompanied by feelings of uncertainty, sadness, and the incredible strength of our community!

We have been working intensively since the first days of the war. In response to the demand reported by the Polish Red Cross, we started collecting donations, brought the articles, sorted them, and finally, thanks to the courtesy of Omida, we transported them to the PCK warehouse, from where they were handed over to people in need. Together, we collected almost a ton of needed donations!

At the same time, we launched a fundraiser to equip nursing rooms for babies and mothers. The war in Ukraine has driven thousands of women and children from their homes. Many of them, in search of safety, reach our city, Gdańsk. Together, we collected almost PLN 12,000 to equip nursing rooms for the youngest war refugees from Ukraine! With the money raised, we bought and delivered comfortable baby feeding chairs, changing tables, cabinets, travel cots, soft blankets and a lot of necessary care trinkets to Gdańsk Helps Ukraine points.

You have trusted us. We received phone calls and e-mails asking what was needed, where to donate money and how to get personally involved in volunteering. And we responded. Everyone tried to help as much as they could: with their knowledge, talent, free time, helping hands. At that time, on the initiative of the Olivia Centre Choir, we started working on a charity concert “Heart with Ukraine”. We engaged artists, created a script, and organized a safe space. It was a touching and unique event – on March 28, 2022, on the stage of the 34. Almost 100 Polish and Ukrainian artists performed. Thanks to your generosity and commitment in the purchase of tickets for the “Heart with Ukraine” concert, we have collected over 180% of the necessary amount! We used it to buy layettes for Ukrainian babies and their mothers. Thanks to you, babies and their caregivers will have everything they need to be cared for and wrapped.

That’s not all! In cooperation with the City of Gdańsk and the UP Foundation, we have opened a charity shop called TAKE&GO, where war refugees from Ukraine can stock up on the most necessary things free of charge. Natka and Natka Bistro decided to donate vouchers for lunches to volunteers who are on duty at the point 6 days a week. The store is located on the ground floor of the Olivia Four building and is open every day, from Monday to Saturday, from 12:00 to 18:00. You can stock up on cosmetics, household chemicals and school supplies. If you feel that you want to support this initiative by providing articles in this field or in the form of service, we invite you to contact the coordinator Karolina Weiner at: karolina.weiner@upfoundation.pl.

Thank you for your trust, commitment, open hearts and helping hands. Although our initiatives for Ukrainian war refugees are noble and necessary, we fervently desire that as soon as possible… turned out to be unnecessary.
