The beginning of summer in Olivia
On the 22nd of June we celebrated the beginning of summer in Olivia. And not just any way, because under… palms 🙂 From 11.00 a.m., the crew of Olivia Business Centre was waiting for you with delicious ice cream. You could also relax for a while (under the palm trees, of course) with jazz music.
You also voted – with the help of coloured balls – whether there should be live music in the Garden in the evenings or whether there should be a DJ there. Live music won. 🙂
We are glad that the event met with such a positive reception. It was the first action of the summer cycle we have planned, bringing closer the idea of our Garden, which is being created in the very heart of Olivia. Filled with greenery, over 1000 meters long Garden during the day is intended to serve It serves as a place for meetings, relaxation and workshops, and in the evenings it serves as a centre of social and artistic events, also dedicated to the residents of the Tri-City.

Stylish Father’s Day at Olivia
On Friday, June 23rd, Olivia Business Centre invited men (and not only) to a special meeting on the occasion of Father’s Day. There was something about men’s fashion and beauty, about their own style and good taste. And how to get a good haircut or shave and how to prepare your beard so that you can comb it well. The afternoon was seasoned with… with a bit of magic.
The secrets of the male world were explored by Modny Dad, i.e. Michał Będźmirowski and Mikey barber, a valued talented barber from Gdynia from Old School BarberShop & Tattoo Ink. The guests were surprised (and enchanted!) by the excellent performer and illusionist Mr. Li, whose artistic workshop is a combination of artistry and ease.
The guests of the meeting were awaited by m.in. A barber craft show, a magic show and attractive prizes in the competition. There was also a children’s corner, so we encouraged you to bring your children.

The extraordinary talent of the artist and the intricate performances of her accompaniment, Dr. Anna Mikolon, will remain in the memory of our community passionate about culture and chamber music for a long time.

That is why projects dedicated to supporting and popularizing it, including our own one, Olivia Cooltura, are so important to us. We want OBC to be a place of unique, inspiring meetings from which Olivia’s employees and the residents of our metropolis draw – says Monika Bogdanowicz from Olivia Business Centre, originator and coordinator of Olivia Cooltura – We initiated a series of chamber concerts as part of Cooltura in 2016. So far, 11 of them have been held. We invite everyone interested to the Camerata do Olivia, as the events organized as part of Olivia Cooltura are open to the general public.

Olivia chooses Gdańsk, do it too!
With the start of the St. Dominic’s Fair – one of the oldest and the biggest fair and exhibition events in Europe –
socio-educational project called “Choose Gdańsk. For living and working”
organised by Gdańsk Global Foundation begins. Olivia Business Centre proudly supports the action. The project is to tell us a few words about the potential of Gdańsk by presenting its strong sides and hard arguments speaking in favour of them, and presenting people who decided to make Gdańsk their home. They chose this place for living and working. The project is being co-ordinated under the honorary patronage of the President of the City of Gdańsk, Paweł Adamowicz.
– We, Gdańsk residents, love our city and we know very well why – says
Jarosław Śmigiel
, marketing director at Olivia Business Centre. – Now we want to convince others that it is a wonderful place not only for living, but also for working. It is a good place to establish lasting ties for many years or maybe for the whole life, also professional one.
The project focuses on key issues for people who consider relocation, like comfort of life, education, work, health, sport, culture and art, social integration, innovativeness and entrepreneurship.
During St. Dominic’s Fair you can look out for some other interesting facts and data concerning Gdańsk, which confirm that it is an ideal place for living and working.
Thanks to the cooperation with Gdańsk International Fair, the project will reach, according to organisers’ calculations, more than one and a half million people (from outside Gdańsk) who visit St. Dominic’s Fair. The arguments for living in Gdańsk appear, among other things, in information and advertisement media promoting this unique event for the city.
The website
wybragdansk.p
l
, on which, among other things, information and interesting facts about the city, as well as profiles of people who chose this place for living and working will be presented, is dedicated to the initiative “Choose Gdańsk”. The informative action will be held also on Facebook and Instagram. The start of this project’s edition will be accompanied by the change of its visual identification. New logo and visual identification system were developed by Linia2 Agency.
Ultimately, the project is to be presented during key events for Gdańsk, in cooperation with institutions, which activities cover promotion of the city and Gdańsk agglomeration in Poland and abroad.
The organiser of “Choose Gdańsk. For living and working” is Gdańsk Global Foundation. The project is being co-ordinated under the honorary patronage of the President of the City of Gdańsk, Paweł Adamowicz. The action, apart from Olivia Business Centre and Gdańsk International Fair, is supported also by the Employers of Pomerania, Gdańsk Foundation, European Solidarity Centre and Gdańsk Tourism Organisation.
