The best European short track specialists will come to Gdańsk to compete in the European Championships. Among them will be m.in. Polish star, former European champion and medalist of world events Natalia Maliszewska, but also other excellent Polish competitors who have recently performed phenomenally in the World Cup competition in Almaty. The White-and-Reds will compete with the best European players, including legends of this sport, such as the Dutch Suzanne Schulting.

The European Championships will take place on January 13-15. The event will take place in the famous Olivia Hall in Gdańsk. Interestingly, the previous edition – in 2021 – was also held in the same place. A year later, short track athletes were supposed to compete for medals at the European Championships in Dresden, but the event was canceled due to covid restrictions. Thanks to this, Natalia Maliszewska will be able to defend the silver medal won in Gdańsk also in front of the Polish audience.
Twenty-five European federations have already confirmed their arrival in Polish, including, of course, the strongest ones such as the Netherlands and Italy. Polish fans will be able to see live such well-known international names as Suzanne SCHULTING and Xandra VELZEBOER (Netherlands), Hanne DESMET (Belgium), Anna SEIDEL (Germany), Pietro SIGHEL (Italy) and Roberts KRUZBERGS (Latvia).
There will also be local heroes who represent the Gdańsk Shipyard, such as Kamila Stormowska and Nikola Mazur or Diane Sellier (gold medalist of the World Cup in Almaty).
See you in the stands!
