The offshore wind sector is one of the fastest growing areas of the economy. The demand for new, qualified employees will grow in the near future.

That is why we invite eighth-grade students who are facing the choice of a further education path to a meeting during which they will have the opportunity to learn about development paths in the industry of the future. An expert has been invited to participate in the meeting to talk about the directions of development of renewable energy and the importance of environmental and climate protection. They will pay attention to the desired skills and qualifications that will allow young people to fit into the planned demand.

We want young people to develop their interests at every stage of education and for their choices to be conscious, accurate and in line with the requirements of the modern labour market. By receiving carefully and factually prepared information, they increase their chances of catching favorable winds on their way to the professional tomorrow!

Expert

The guest of the meeting will be Krzysztof Tomaszewski from the Foundation for the Innovative Offshore Energy Industry. Since 2022, he has been conducting workshop meetings in Pomeranian schools on the development of offshore wind energy.

The meeting will take place on April 24, 2024 at the Talent Development Center, there are two hours to choose from:

• 10:00-11:30
• 12:00-13:30

Important information

The meeting will take place at the Talent Development Centre. Registration required. Applications can be made by the teacher.

The number of places is limited. The order of applications is decisive.

One school can register a maximum of 30 students interested in the topic.
