Maciej Moskwa

He is a graduate of the Sopot Schools of Photography and co-founder of the documentary collective Testigo. He deals with photojournalism and documentary projects. Author of the books “Sura” and “Saraha” about the war and revolution in Syria. He has made reportages in many places around the globe, including Poland, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Turkey, Somalia, South Sudan, Russia, Mongolia and Guyana. In 2014, he won the Photo of the Year award in the BZ WBK Press Photo competition, and in 2015 the same award in the
Grand Press Photo
competition. Multiple winner of the Gdańsk Press Photo competition. Finalist of the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation Grant as well as PhotoPhilantrophy in 2014. He published his works in magazines such as Gazeta Wyborcza, Poznaj Świat, National Geographic Traveler, Tygodnik Powszechny, and Przekrój.

Action plan:

• Until May 18 , people participating in the workshop perform a photographic task indicated by the teacher.
• On May 18, a workshop will be held during which m.in will be discussed. works carried out as part of the task.
• On June 3, on Children’s Day in Olivia and Oliwa , the reportage team goes to the field:)
