About the host:

Paulina Walkiewicz Jasińska

About myself: I have been working with young people for 19 years. I gained my teaching experience in schools in Poland and abroad. I graduated from pedagogical and language studies at the University of Gdańsk. I started my education at the College of Foreign Language Teacher Education, where I obtained a higher professional diploma and a bachelor’s degree in English language teaching. I completed my master’s degree in pedagogy and postgraduate studies in Preschool and Early School Pedagogy at the University of Gdańsk. I gained teaching experience on the Tri-City educational market, working in a primary school with English as the language of instruction. I also gained valuable experience working for several years in the international educational environment of international schools in Kuwait.

Currently, I am associated with the innovative LAS Academy Primary School in Sopot. I work as a deputy headmaster, methodologist and Mindfulness teacher. My mission is to meet the fundamental needs of children and young people: the need for respect, acceptance, peace, friendship, respect for intimacy and personal dignity, the need for individualism and creative action.
