August is a month of holidays, but of course not for all employees.
Many of us will spend this time in workplaces, engaging in various professional projects.
With a large number of responsibilities, a desire to escape from personal problems, an excessive need to control one’s life and a sense of external and internal compulsion to meet high standards of work quality, it is not difficult to fall into workaholism.

Unlike other behavioral addictions, it is unfortunately mistakenly perceived in society as a positive phenomenon.
In reality, however, it brings a lot of losses to both mental and physical health.
In order to prevent this really dangerous addiction, we invite you to our premiere workshop “Stop the professional spinning wheel, or how to effectively prevent workaholism”.

During the new preventive workshops:

  • you will discover what needs – apart from financial – you satisfy thanks to your own work,
  • you will debunk the most important myths about workaholism,
  • you will learn how the perception of work has changed over the centuries,
  • you will learn to distinguish between healthy commitment at work and harmful addiction,
  • You will analyze your daily schedule at work and set professional priorities.
The workshops will be conducted by career counsellors: Iwona Gryś and Karolina Laskowska

When

August 8, 2024, 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., stationary at the Talent Development Center.

The workshops are aimed at adults. Participation in them is free of charge, but the number of places is limited, so prior registration is required.
