The American concern EPAM Systems is developing dynamically in Olivia Business Centre. The company, which has been present in Olivia since 2014, has signed another lease agreement for office space in the Gdańsk business center. It will occupy over 10,000 sqm, including almost 8,000 sqm in the newly built Olivia Prime.
EPAM Systems – a global leader in the IT industry and the largest provider of modern software development services in Central and Eastern Europe – has decided to extend the lease agreement for offices in the Olivia Four building and to sign a new lease agreement for office space – this time in Olivia Prime.
– At EPAM Systems, we believe that technology defines success. We employ specialists who are looking for IT solutions that change business every day. We have been in Gdańsk for 4 years. The dynamics of our company’s development in this city is impressive. We are constantly hiring new people. They are mainly engineers, programmers, business analysts, team leaders. Hence, the need for more space. We are very happy that Olivia is able to meet our requirements in this area. We believe that Prime will fit perfectly into the pace of change taking place in EPAM Systems – says Michał Krzepkowski, Senior Administrative Manager.
Olivia Prime consists of two interconnected buildings. The first part of the office building – core A with an area of 35 000 sq. m. It will be put into operation later this year. Olivia Prime B (core B) with an area of 25,000 sq m, a year later. As a result of the merger, tenants will have almost 4000 sq. m at their disposal. on one floor.
What distinguishes Olivia Prime is the loggias located on each floor, allowing you to go outside without leaving the office, and on the roofs there are large terraces for employees, which will be filled with greenery. It will be the first such building in Poland. Everything is designed to serve one purpose: to ensure the highest possible employee satisfaction. This is to be achieved through the idea of close contact with nature, living vegetation and natural materials, which guided us in the design of the building. – says Maciej Kotarski, Director of the Leasing Department at Olivia Business Centre – A canteen with an area of over 700 m2, accessible from the inside and outside of the building, with a spacious terrace on the 1st floor, will also be a convenience for employees. Floor– adds Maciej Kotarski.
Olivia is also a great place for fast-growing companies. “Due to the scale of the project, Olivia allows tenants to expand without any problems, both within one building and the entire centre. A perfect example of this is the dynamically growing EPAM Systems. The company first occupied two floors in Olivia Four, and now it is opening a new, two-storey office in Olivia Prime. Subsequently, EPAM Systems will develop on parallel floors in core B of the same building – says Jakub Jastrzębski, Senior Associate at Olivia Business Centre.
According to the developer’s assumptions, Olivia Business Centre is much more than just buildings. The company makes every effort to integrate and activate tenants in a non-standard way and to make their presence in Olivia more attractive. Of course, it takes advantage of its attractive location.
Olivia Business Centre is much more than buildings – there are plenty of amenities, and the developer is constantly creating new ones to integrate and activate tenants in a non-standard way – also through sports, including sailing. – One of the integration elements promoted in Olivia is yachting. Along with the office space, we have made available to EPAM Systems a racing yacht as part of the Business Sailing League, in which, of course, the crew of Olivia Business Centre also competes – adds Maciej Kotarski, Director of the Leasing Department at Olivia Business Centre. – Sailing together brings teams together and builds the employer’s brand fantastically. We race on identical Delfia 24 vessels – it is a demanding yacht, and we compete fiercely with each other, but always fair play. Many people from EPAM Systems, from different cities and even countries where EPAM branches are located, have expressed their willingness to swim in the regatta.
