The signing of the agreement with AZS University of Gdańsk officially opens the calendar of league games in the beginning season of the women’s basketball and futsal leagues. Olivia Business Centre has become the Main Partner of university teams for another season in a row.

The plans are ambitious. The first league basketball players assume promotion to the play-off phase. According to coach Włodzimierz Augustynowicz, the fifth place in last year’s competition allows us to believe that the goal is within reach. The pillars of the team this season are called to the Polish national team Jastina Kosalewicz, Angelika Kuras, Karolina Formella, Paulina Kuras.
Futsal players, on the other hand, will be cheered on by fans in the Ekstraklasa. A titled team aims high. The goal that seems within the team’s reach is the first “6”.
“After the main round, the league is divided into two groups fighting for Championship and Retention. The futsal team has undergone quite a metamorphosis, there are some new players who will be gaining league experience” – Jacek Burglin explains the situation in the team.
The line-up includes Wojciech Pawicki, Mikołaj Kreft and Mateusz Cyman.
The first match of the season in front of their home crowd will be played on October 1, at 8.00 p.m. in the AWFiS Hall at Czyżewskiego Street in Gdańsk.
Admission for fans will be free of charge.
