Schibsted Tech Polska Sp. z o.o., owned by the Norwegian media group Schibsted Media Group, will move into Olivia Star. The company will occupy over 860 sq. m. on the 21st floor of the tallest office building in the Tri-City. In the process of searching for a new location and negotiating the terms of the agreement, the tenant was once again represented by experts from the international consulting firm JLL.
The Gdańsk branch of Schibsted Tech Polska develops IT systems that are made available to millions of users through web and mobile applications. The company, which currently employs almost 30 people in Gdansk, has been present here since 2014.
Filip Szczucki, Director of the Gdańsk branch of Schibsted Tech Polska, comments: “Our programming center is growing steadily, taking advantage of the favorable conditions for conducting this type of activity offered by Gdańsk. Further development of the company, related to the creation of new jobs, requires larger, modern and well-equipped office space in a prestigious location. Moving to the new office will help us achieve our strategic goals.”

Olivia Star, a 35-storey building with a leasable area of approx. 45 000 sq m is the next stage of development of one of the most interesting multifunctional investments in Poland – Olivia Business Centre. On the top floors of Olivia Star, there will be, among others, a public observation deck, a restaurant and a conference centre. Residents and guests of the facility will be able to admire the most beautiful panorama in Poland from a height of over 150 meters: the Bay of Gdańsk, the cliffs of Gdynia, ports, the Hel Peninsula and the Tri-City Landscape Park.

As well as the popular cafes and restaurants that will be located on the ground floor.”
The Olivia Business Centre complex is located in the middle of the agglomeration, at al. Grunwaldzka – the main artery of the Tri-City. The business centre is characterized by excellent access to public transport, including the Fast Urban Railway station and bus and tram stops. In the immediate vicinity there is the multifunctional Olivia Hall and the Main Campus of the University of Gdańsk. So far, the following buildings have been completed as part of the Olivia Business Centre investment: Olivia Gate, Olivia Point, Olivia Tower, Olivia Four and Olivia Six. Olivia Star will be commissioned in 2017.
