On 28 March, Great Place to Work® in Poland announced the list of Best Workplaces Poland 2017. There were 20 winners, half of whom were companies listed for the first time. Olivia Business Centre Resident – Sii, has once again been recognized as a company that can successfully build and develop unique relationships with its employees. Sii took third place (up from the fourth position in 2016!) in the category “companies employing more than 500 people”. The company has received this prestigious award for the third year in a row and thus strengthened its position in the global ranking of top employers. Congratulations!
The prestigious title of the Best Place to Work Poland 2017 is awarded to companies operating in Poland, which – regardless of the number of employees and the industry in which they operate – constitute the elite among Polish employers and have a significant share in shaping the Polish labour market. In line with the Great Place to Work® model, at every latitude, the pillar of success of the winners of the competition for the best workplaces remains the mutual trust within the company.
Since the beginning of the Great Place to Work® research and competition in Poland, the strategic partner of the gala has been the Lewiatan Confederation. This year also Global Compact Poland. The competition gala was held under the honorary patronage of Mrs. Elżbieta Rafalska – Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, the Humanites Foundation, the Women’s Congress Association and the Responsible Business Forum.
Sii CEO, Gregoire Nitot says about the award – The Great Place to Work title is a great distinction and success for us, which we work hard for at Sii. First of all, the key is to increase revenues and generate profits. All this makes us a stable and reliable employer as well as a business partner. Without business development, we would not have been able to provide such excellent working conditions for our team. Thanks to the award, we know that we are heading in the right direction, which is a very important indicator for me personally. On the other hand, this award is a valuable asset for us. The Great Place to Work title sets us apart from other companies and gives us an edge over the competition. We can continue to conquer the world and be proud of the distinction that confirms the fact that Sii is not only a technological expert, but also the best place to work – adds the CEO.
The award is granted on the basis of an audit of the company’s employees’ satisfaction and specifies in detail the level of their satisfaction with the conditions and comfort of work.
According to the global standard of the Great Place to Work survey, the final assessment consists of two aspects: the Trust Index, reflecting the opinions of the employees themselves about the relationships prevailing in the company, and the Culture Audit, i.e. the analysis of HR practices. Organizations that build trust and create a positive feedback loop between employee personal contributions and appreciation create workplace cultures that excel at business outcomes.
Joanna Kucharska, Director of Recruitment, HR and Communications, adds – Sii has once again proven that it is at the forefront of great workplaces. We are immensely proud of the award because it is a recognition from our employees. The results tell us what changes we are supposed to make at Sii and allow us to get to know the needs of our employees. After each audit, we draw conclusions and implement changes at Sii so that together we can become a better and better place to work – and our goal is to be the best, and this is what we strive for. Currently, we have prepared a number of surprises for our employees, we want to celebrate the success with them and thank them for the award.
Sii can boast of high employment rates and dynamic development. On average, the company employs 100 engineers every month, or 1,200 per year. Currently, there are 2,700 experts working at Sii, and within a year the company plans to increase employment to 3,300 specialists. Sii has 8 branches in the largest cities in Poland: Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan, Katowice, Łódź and Lublin. Experienced programmers, testers, system architects, project managers, analysts and business managers will be able to count on employment in the company in the near future.
